Working with a contractor I was brought on as the lead developer for a site that tracks percentages of winning on each of the five top poker sites (in 2003). The site allowed users to upload their hands from the top sites in a text file (non XML) and the system would parse the uploaded file. The system would display the chances of winning with the given hand and river hands. It was based on the fact that computers can't be random and there would patterns to each individual site.
The site was written in PHP and was developed using procedural system as OOP for PHP was not as popular as it is now in 2010.
